Shop Welding Projects

As big as the shop is, some projects are still to big to fit. No problem. Plenty of room right outside.

The rainbow color around this TIG weld is harmless to the welds integrity. And can be removed using a pickling acid gel for a nice polished appearance. I love the way it looks.

                Tricky Spots

I had the techs at Boulder Toyota’s shop remove the radiator, to give me adequate access the make the repair.

 

I recreated the top right portion of this water pump bolt hole using a nickel wire TIG weld, then touched up the hole with an air grinder, and re tapped the threads.
